Cabling

Cable I.T. is the voice and data cabling division of JNC Group, Inc.

Low voltage cabling, projects are, or should be, engineered.  Typically low voltage means Cat 3 cable for voice, Cat 5e or Cat 6 for data and RG6 for video as well as fiber.  Several factors are taken into consideration when specifying installation requirements.

There are specific "rules and tools" that are used based on long established standards set forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

So when a customer needs 'a cable drop in Bill's office', Cable I.T. doesn't just get out the ladder and the 1000' spool of blue Cat 5e and start pushing up ceiling tiles, although it may appear that way.

If that's all the cabling contractor is doing, then you need to get a new cabling contractor.  Cable I.T. takes into consideration network capacity in terms of bandwidth, the type of work Bill will be doing, the distance from the wire closet to Bill's office, and many other factors.

Cable I.T. can handle the drop in Bill's office as well as a thousand drops in a new facility that will require a Main Distribution Frame (MDF) build-out with structured cabling, and several Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDF's) on different floors.

We also do wire closet cleanup.  That is where there is a room where all of the cables come in from the telephone company and go out to the rest of the office.  Often times, when there have been several tenants in an office space over a period of years, old wiring is never removed, resulting in a quagmire on the wall.  Cable I.T. will tone out the connections, removing old wire and reorganizing and labeling everything.

And of course, Cable I.T. does troubleshooting and repair, work as well.
